POOR VALUE
Slow shipping (nearly 3 weeks after ordering). Rowenta sold ZD4430 cover($24)for my ironing board but(sadly)discontinued it. It had integrated pad and fit perfectly. Clares replacement is very thin (no pad) so you must order a separate pad or improvise. I ordered Clares pad which came rolled and bound with a strip of masking tape. When I removed the masking tape a lot of the low density foam came off with it. I expected at least medium density. The total was over $58 and with hindsite, buying a new ironing board would be a favorable alternative.
Amazing
I bought this for my amazingly well crafted Rowenta board; they are notoriously difficult to find covers for due to their wide shape but are worth the hassle. This cover fit perfectly. I bought the silver reflective board simply because I thought it would go with the decor in my room better...and I am amazed at the effect it has had on my ironing. My clothes are ironing smoother and faster than ever. They look amazing.
I was a little disappointed to realize that I still need a pad for underneath it luckily I had one that I had shrunk in the dryer that I managed to rig up to stay underneath it. If you simply try to use this product by itself it will iron in the metal grate pattern of the ironing board.
Amazing work and craftsmanship I will be buying from Shop at Clares again!
Not as good as the original
We much preferred the original cover that came with the Rowenta ironing board. This was not as high in quality for the price paid. It did arrive quickly and the fit was good. Since it was thinner than expected, we left the old cover on and put the new cover on top.
