Terrible Product!
I received this vacuum sealer as a gift. Let me clarify that it was not purchased from Amazon. It was purchased from a well known mega/super store. I was very excited to get this because my old one which is a Rival Seal a Meal is out dated, and, has become very slow and does'nt work very well. I wanted to up grade to a better model. I really like the special features of this sealer... it has storage for the roll of bags with a built in cutter so you can customize the size of the bag you want to use. You can also seal without vacuuming which is great. I had to return the first one I got because it did not vacuum the air out of the bag. I tried it several times with different meats and it would not vacuum!! The second one I got, I used as soon as I got home and again, it sealed but would not vacuum the air out. I followed all the instructions and the troubleshooting tips but it still did not work. Another negative is, it is VERY loud. I really had high hopes for this Ziploc...
