The Perfect Gift
My cousin purchased this sharpener and invited me to use it. It was easy to get used to and did a great job in so little time. Therefore, I had to have my own. You can't go wrong with this sharpener, plus, it is easy to set up and sharpen just one knife. The belts are easy to change and the sharpened edge of the knife looks like a pro did it !!!!
Super sharpening shaver
Wowser! Just sharpened about a dozen kitchen knives, quickly. My left arm is now half shaven! This product is NO GIMMICK. What I like about this product is that the spinning sanding belt is 90 degrees to the blade, not a pair of grinding wheels that squeeze from both sides at an odd angle. I sharpened both carbon steel and stainless steel kithchen blades. Set up requires some mechanical ability, but not difficult (heck, I figured it out). I bought extra sanding belts for long term (coarse, medium and fine). I haven't tried hunting or serrated blades yet, but there is a different angle guide for those and it just makes sense...the whole thing just makes sense. So go forth and SHARPEN!
